What You'll Do
Design & Web Development
- Design and build client websites using Brizy Cloud (training provided)
- Create visually stunning layouts with strong typography and composition
- Apply advanced design principles across all digital touchpoints
Social Media & Content Creation
- Design social media graphics and marketing materials in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
- Manage social media scheduling and content calendars
- Create engaging visual content that stops the scroll
AI & Emerging Tools
- Work with AI art generation tools like MidJourney for creative concepts
- Experiment with AI-powered design assistants and automation
- Stay current with emerging creative technologies
Video & Multimedia
- Produce light video content for Instagram Reels and social platforms
- Add captions, transitions, music, and effects using Canva and AI tools
- Edit and optimize video content for different platforms
Client Collaboration
- Visit client locations for content capture and photography
- Attend in-person meetings to develop visual strategies
- Represent EMKT with professionalism at client sites
Who You Are
Essential Qualities:

Language Requirements:
- Spanish: Native or fluent
- English: Working proficiency (can follow instructions and collaborate with bilingual team)
- You don't need to communicate with clients, but must understand team direction in English
Technical Skills Required:
- Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator (Intermediate level)
- Canva (expert level)
- Figma (expert level)
- Basic video editing
- Understanding of typography, composition, and visual hierarchy
- Social media platform knowledge
- Willingness to learn Brizy Cloud and other no-code tools
Bonus Points:
- Experience with MidJourney or other AI design tools
- Photography or videography skills
- Previous agency or studio experience
- Experience writing HTML and CSS
- Working knowledge of WordPress
- Knowledge of social media scheduling platforms
- Portfolio showing variety (web, social, print)

Salary range: $19,000 - $27,000 MXN/month based on experience and skill level

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be fully bilingual?
You need Spanish fluency and working English proficiency—enough to understand instructions and collaborate with our bilingual team. You don't need to communicate directly with clients, but should be able to work with Steve (intermediate Spanish) and Vanessa (fluent Spanish and English).
Is this position remote?
No. This is a full-time in-office position in San Miguel de Allende. You'll also occasionally visit client locations for content capture and meetings, so reliable transportation is required.
How To Boost Your Traffic Of Your Blog And Destroy The Competition
Monday-Friday full days, Saturday half-day, Sunday completely off. We respect work-life balance while maintaining professional standards and meeting our commitments.
Will I work directly with clients?
Initially, you'll work primarily with our Art Director and internal team. As you grow in the role and prove yourself, you may have opportunities for direct client interaction.
Do you provide training?
Yes. We provide comprehensive training on Brizy Cloud and our internal systems. We also support learning for AI tools and emerging platforms. We expect you to learn quickly and bring curiosity to new technologies.
What if I haven't used Brizy Cloud or AI tools before?
No problem! We care more about your design eye, willingness to learn, and ability to execute than specific platform experience. If you have strong fundamentals and enthusiasm for learning, we'll teach you the tools.
What kind of portfolio do I need?
We need to see examples of web design, social media graphics, and any video or motion work you've done. Quality matters more than quantity. Show us 8-10 strong pieces that demonstrate your design thinking and execution.
Can I apply if I'm still a student?
Yes, if you have a strong portfolio and can commit to full-time in-office work. We value talent and potential over credentials.
When would I start?
Start dates are flexible based on your situation. We understand if you need to give notice at a current position. Ideal candidates could start within 2-4 weeks.
